The hosted predictive dialler will seamlessly integrate with existing voice and data systems, managing outbound, inbound and blend calling campaigns.
It provides agent productivity tools to increase the number of calls handled and improve the quality of each customer contact. The hosted predictive dialler supports three methods of automated outbound dialling: preview, progressive and predictive dialling.
Pacing algorithms initiate outbound calls based on anticipated agent availability as extrapolated from real-time campaign event MIS information, including number of agents logged on, average agent talk and wrap times, answer rate, connect rate and other real time information.
A call is only made once an agent is available. This is used when the call centre does not want to drop a call, or when calling business-to-business and there is an expectation that all calls will be answered.
Here, a screen is presented to the agent with the customer's details prior to the call being placed. The call can either be launched when the agent presses a button or automatically after a predefined time. This support service is typically used for debt collection.
No single method of dialling is best for all outbound calling campaigns. In general, the characteristics of the campaign i.e. type of campaign (call to be made, call volumes and the number of agents involved), will dictate the method of dialling. In many cases, different campaigns will require more than one method of dialling. For example, predictive dialling to handle mass calling, while progressive and preview dialling are used to handle more complex calls where actions are potentially different for each call made.
